The vision of THE DIFFERENCE started in April 2004. Rick set out on a long journey from an aspiring Engineer in Traverse City and became a Real Estate Broker.

Interesting story, the trip included multiple stops along the way in the manufacturing sector. The manufacturing engineering works began to sharing in late 90’s early 2000’s and would ultimately BUST!

During these unsettling times, a complete evaluation of his goals was initiated. He quickly determined that during his 11 year career in manufacturing, where he rose to the position of Plant Manager, that he would be reconsidering his employment options. In order to continue to live in his community. 

He enjoyed the sales aspects of each of his positions and his mind was once again settled. “Going to re-focus my work in Sales” he said. 

He began working as a sales associate for a local real estate company in 2004 and stayed with that company until 2018.

In 2008, he established himself as an associate broker, and now is the successful broker owner of an established real estate company, The Difference Real Estate.

There is a difference in the world and The Difference Real Estate quietly makes the difference in many lives every year.
